OCONTO, Wis.,May 11, 2018 – Bishop David L. Ricken, Father Joel Sember, and the faithful of the Oconto community will bless the building site and host a ground-breaking ceremony for the new Holy Trinity Parish site.
Members of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish are celebrating now that enough money has been raised to allow construction of a new church. “We’re excited and very pleased and blessed with the amount of donations and generosity of the parish and the community,” said Joe Van Ess, a member of the Parish Building Committee. Holy Trinity plans to break ground next spring as soon as weather permits, and hope to hold the first Mass and the new church at Christmas 2018. [NEWSPAPER ARTICLE]
The auction was a huge success again this year. A huge thank you to everyone that participated in some way to this major fundraiser for our parish!! We made a profit of $14,454.81 this year!!
Thank you to everyone who has given to the reverse collection food drive. With your generosity, we donated 720 pounds of non-perishable items to Bread By the Bay Food Pantry. The pantry will benefit greatly from your generosity.
